New Symbol: Infinity Loop
I have added a new shape to my symbol node: infinity loop.
Infinity Loop is not a font character with multiple contours. It really is a loop. That is, it's a single closed path that starts in the center and then loops around, intersecting itself once before returning to the center. This means that you can use it in animations to make objects follow a path similar to a Bernoulli Lemniscate (or lazy eight).
You can also use it as an infinity symbol by colorizing it, setting the fill to transparent, and the stroke to a positive thickness. As with all the shapes in the symbol node, you can size it by setting a height.
Infinity Loop is the eighth shape in my symbol collection. I really should come up with a better name than "symbol" because not all of these shapes are really symbols. They're just useful shapes that were interesting to make from scratch.
UPDATE I did rename this node: http://support.nodebox.net/discussions/show-your-work/970-shapes-fo...
Enjoy!
