Cartan Node Library 3.4

Attached is the latest rev of my Cartan Node Library. This file was built using over 265,000 nodes, surely making it the largest Nodebox network on earth!

Version 3.4 includes 154 library nodes. I added 9 and dropped 2, for a net gain of 7. All nodes are free for use with no restrictions.

To use: with your current project open use File/Open Recent to open node library 3-4.ndbx in another window. Then just copy/paste the desired node from the library into your project. A few of the nodes also require adding a code library module (included).

The top section contains all 154 nodes arranged under 9 categories. The bottom section contains 154 demos. Some demos contain extra bonus nodes.

Improvements:

• apply_ramp: If you surpass the indicated total number of frames, apply_ramp will now maintain its final value.
• blend_colors: "Subtractive" mode (based on the RGB color space) renamed to "Subtract Light". Added new mode (based on the RYB color space) called "Subtract Paint". See final note in http://support.nodebox.net/discussions/show-your-work/680-new-blend....
• concat_list: Added a bonus node to the demo: "merge_string". Merge_string works just like concat_list but doesn't require an external module. It is limited, however, to a maximum of 600 strings.
• draw_table: Added "Align numbers" option. See http://support.nodebox.net/discussions/show-your-work/710-improved-...
• even_sample: Cleaned up code. Slight speed improvement in some situations.
• explode: Faster and more efficient. See http://support.nodebox.net/discussions/show-your-work/728-faster-ex...
• factorial: N values >=22 will no longer round when comma are added.
• intrsct_curve: Fixed rounding error that could happen In rare circumstances.
• intrsct_line: Fixed rounding errors.
• intrsct_path: Updated with new versions of explode, intrsct_curve, and intrsct_line. Contains a modified version of intrsct_line that prevents all lines from exploded path extending when user chooses extend option.
• luma_colors: Fixed bug: changing seeds now changes the first random color as well as the rest.
• palette: Added RYB color space. Renamed HSL color space to HSB. See final two notes in http://support.nodebox.net/discussions/show-your-work/656-palette-node
• sub_path:. Fixed bug. Now almost twice as fast!
• triangle: Added formula option and fixed two bugs. Under values option, order of values now matches order of inputs (A,B,C,AB,AC,BC). Invalid triangle now shows error messages under all viewing options (even under the values option). • shutter: In all the years since I made it, I never once used it. As far as I know, no one else did either.
