Cartan Node Library 3.3

Attached, AT LAST, is the latest rev of my Cartan Node Library!

Version 3.3 includes 147 nodes. All nodes are free for use with no restrictions.

**To use:** with your current project open use File/Open Recent to open node library 3-3.ndbx in another window. Then just copy/paste the desired node from the library into your project. A few of the nodes also require adding a code library module (included).

The top section contains all 147 nodes arranged under 9 categories. The bottom section contains 147 demos. Some demos contain extra bonus nodes.

WHAT'S NEW

The increasing size of the library forced me to create some new categories. Nodes are no longer categorized purely on their output type.

There are three new categories:

**Change**- Nodes used for animations or gradients (typically have frame or T as an input)**Text**- Nodes which output text paths**Color**- Nodes which create or work with colors

I also Recategorized some nodes:

Improvements:

**Apply_color**- can now individually adjust fill, stroke, and width**Arrow**- fixed bug that caused arrow to have an undefined fill**Blend_color**- add new blending modes**Colors**- add random mode**Fit_curve**- fixed bug that returned open curve as multiple segments**Image**- image quality now applies when in mask mode**Inter_color**- add nonlinear (gamma) option**Intrsct_path**- fixed bug that caused error for certain unusual paths**Overlaps**- add table option, no longer need drop nulls**Place_label**- fixed bug that caused error for certain unusual shapes**Triangle**- fixed bug that caused occasional error in valid triangle when all 3 sides provided**True_center**- now works for all triangles (regular or not) as well as stars, fancy stars, and regular polygons

Depricated Nodes:

**Trace**. This node didn’t work very well, so I took it out. If I can ever figure out how to do this properly, I will put it back in.

NOTE: A PDF of the library poster showing all the nodes is included inside the zipped library folder. Feel free to print it out and hang it over your desk!

I am also still thinking about our recent discussion. You inspired me to dig up my old posterize node; I have plans to make it more general purpose. Still not sure about CMYK, but my new Luma node will at least make that a little easier to implement.
