Keyboard Shortcuts are Not Working in Windows

Keyboard Shortcuts showed in the menu are Not Working in Windows, and Space key shortcut for mouse pan didn't work properly too.

   Hi fybh64646,

   I believe you are a Windows user, yes?

   Are you using the recent NodeBox update (3.0.52)? If so, were the keyboard shortcuts working for you before you upgraded?

   There is a known bug with Windows shortcuts in the last update that Frederik has not yet fixed. (Adding Frederik to this thread.)

   If that is the source of your problem, and if this bug is worse for you than the bugs Frederik fixed in 3.0.52 (movie exports and option copy), you may have to restore to the previous version for now.

   There might be some other workaround like using a system utility to remap your shortcut keys, but I do not have access to a Windows machine and cannot be of much help there. If you do find such a workaround, please share it for the other Windows users.

   Hi, Jhon,
              I'm using the latest version of NodeBox(3.0.52). I uninstalled the previous version, then installed the latest version.
             All the shortcuts failed. Well, pan shortcut by using Space Key works but it has a little problem. When I was holding the space key and dragging the mouse the first time, a rectangle selction area showed. I continued holding the space key and releas the left mouse button and re-dragged the mouse the second time, the pan function just started working normally. If I released the space key, and repeat the above process, the problem would occur again.

   I tested again. And the pan function worked well later. But the other shortcuts in the menu still are not working.
         Perhaps Frederik don't have enough time to fix it, I can understand.
         I suggest that make the right mouse button as the pan "shortcut key" in Windows, that wound be better.

   Hi fybh6464,

   Yep, it looks like you are suffering from the bug introduced in 3.0.52. If it starts to drive you crazy you can always reinstall 3.0.51. I hope Frederik will find the time to fix this soon.

   As an alternative, you might try remapping keys to see if that works. I am not a Windows user but I found this:

   See if remapping one of the malfunctioning shortcuts to some other key works. This may or may not have any effect on this bug, but it's worth a try. The remapping utility may properly map the shortcuts in a way that overcomes the NodeBox bug. If that does work please report back so that other Windows users can use the same trick.

   There is probably also some way to remap the right mouse button if you want to do that,
