phyllotaxy grid
Hi, does anyone on the forum perhaps know how to make a phyllotaxy grid in Nodebox? Similar to this: https://www.google.com/search?q=phyllotaxy+grid. I've attached a direction of a solution I was trying out.

Hi Floris,
My spiral node (part of my node library) should do the trick. Just set the type to Fermat and the output to points.
Example attached. Note that the spiral node requires my make_curve.py custom node (included in zip file).
Let me know if this is what you need.

Hi John,
Thanks you for your reply. That's awesome! I was not expecting a solution
that would work right out of the box. But this works great. Attached is a
quick test of the result.

Floris,
Oh, that's clever! Nice use of a phillotaxy grid!
I am delighted that you found my spiral node useful. If you want more such nodes, check out my node library, free for all uses without restriction:
