Revert to Default
A bug / feature request for the record...
The "Revert to Default" buttons in node dialogs work only in a limited way for core nodes and not at all for subnetworks. For core nodes they will set a number port back to zero and color port back to black. Even this limited sense of a default doesn't work for subnetworks.
This is a feature I don't need very often, but when I do need it, I need it bad. I am currently trying to make a colorize node for a complex object with three different features that might need color changes. Each feature comes with a carefully chosen default color. If a user changes one of these colors there is no way (aside from undo) to ever recover the default colors. Most things in NodeBox have a workaround. But in this case I am helpless to provide any way to restore a default color setting once it has been changed.
The request is to provide a "Default" field that would appear in the Metadata dialog for each port. Anything entered into that field would be stored in the ndbx file for that node. Hitting the "Revert to Default" button from the node dialog would restore the default value using that setting.
