Creating a starburst in NodeBox 3
Hi. Attempting to create a starburst using Nodebox. Attaching a visual, created in Photoshop illustrating what I'd like to achieve. I want to concentrate the points at the centre then diffuse outwards. Using ellipse, random and scatter nodes – how do I concentrate the points at centre and diffuse point information outwards?
Many thanks. Jon

Hello Jon,
take a look at the attached file. The idea is that you create several concentric circles (range to ellipsis width and height) that you fill up with a number of points (scatter). I attached a random numbers node to the seed of this scatter to obtain different scatters for the different circles. Then I make an ellipsis (just one in this example) and throw it on all these points. Changing the number of scattered points for each circle can increase the effect. There are probably different ways of doing it.
best,
lucas
