how can i add a custom node to the new node list?
so that i can easily reuse it?

Unfortunately, that's currently not possible. In NodeBox 2 we had a search path where you could add libraries, but we don't have that anymore. Maybe we should re-introduce it.

Hello, I just started using Node Box and I was going to ask the exact same thing. Having a simple way in which I could reuse custom built nodes would be awesome. I just started messing around with custom nodes. :) Fun program, can't wait to see more of what you do with it and play with it further.
