Hi. I found a bug. I'm sending you my files.
Hi!
I've already posted here as JamesWlf but I lost my password and also the email I was using, so I created this new identity. Thanks again for creating these tools. They are wonderful. I've been playing with Nodebox for Open GL, and I like it much more than Processing. It feels more simple in a good way.
I was trying to make a little thing with svgs of a Kant portrait in NB3, but look at the result of the rightmost scatter node. I didn't create subnetworks because I've also found a few bugs with them when changing the nodes inside the network, e.g., when adding more nodes to the process of the network. (I was going to report that but I've been very busy. Later I'll upload a file and show you).
By the way, I hadn't seen that Nodebox 2 allowed you to modify the parameters of the nodes directly with code inside the GUI . This feature is coming back in Nodebox 3, right?
Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply.
I've looked at your files and it seems NodeBox is not happy applying a scatter to a group of paths.
I've tried ungrouping but that makes very uneven clusters.
The problem is that the elements intersect, so that the full, bounds of the shape form a square. I've tried using a compound path to prove my point but this causes NodeBox to freak on your path.
It seems your best bet is to clean up the original SVG somewhat so that you don't get fully intersecting shapes.
The best result I could find was to ungroup the imported shapes first, then resample, then scatter. (last screenshot).
So far it doesn't seem that it's a bug in NodeBox, just the side effect of working with a very difficult path.
Best,
F

Thanks, Mr. De Bleser!
I had forgotten about this. In fact I don't remember it completely yet. Are
you going to keep developing Nodebox?
Thanks for all the great work.
