You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

Thanks for posting this, Floris.
Is anyone else seeing this?
I am NOT seeing this issue on my Mac or iPad, logged in or not. Search works fine for me.
I wonder if this is regional or OS-related. What OS are you using, Floris.
I checked Tender support (the open source forum software) but saw no reference to this. I am encouraged by the word "temporarily"; perhaps they are on the case and the issue will resolve itself soon.
Floris, please keep us posted.

I am using Mac OS and Firefox. Tried it on my phone, that's working. Tried again on the computer when logged out, that's working as well. Logging back in: didn't work. Tried switching the add- and cookieblocker off didn't help.

That is seriously strange.
If you want to go further down the rabbit hole, you could try it on your Mac, logged in, but with a different browser (Safari or Chrome).
At least you have several ways to search now. I wonder at what level of the system stack this error is coming from.
