Has Anyone Tried NodeBox Under MacOS Big Sur?
I don't see any reason it wouldn't work, but it would be nice if someone already running Big Sur could confirm.
Thanks,
John

I've used it and can confirm it works. Still has a few bugs with clicking nodes but those have been around for a while. No problems otherwise.

Thanks for the quick response, Nick. One less thing to worry about.

Tried youtube tutorial on creating Yin_Yang on Nodebox 3 on MacOS Big Sur.
It creates the first ellipse just fine.
then Combine
Using Arc and Colorize just bombs on connect to Combine. I get an invisible ellipse.
And nothing else from that point on works.
Works as intended on Linux.

Nevermind.
Installed from Github instead. Working as intended. (so far)

Scratch that. Worked all the way through the tutorial. Saved the Nodebox.
All I've got to show for it is a big white circular ellipse - center screen.

Hi Mike,
Oh good. You had me concerned there for a minute.
To confirm, I followed the YouTube video and was able to successfully create the Yin Yang symbol on my Mac. Nice tutorial!
Here, just for fun, is a challenge for you or for any other experienced NodeBoxers who might see this...
The tutorial shows how to create the yin yang symbol using only ten nodes. Can you find a way to create the exact same symbol from scratch (no fonts) using only SEVEN nodes?
I'll give you guys a little time to ponder before posting the answer.
John

Mike,
In response to your followup with the big white circle...
In your screenshot you have the colorize node set as the node to render. Just double-click the combine node to see the finished yin yang symbol.
The rendering thing can be easy to miss at first but is very powerful. Great for debugging!

I posted the Yin Yang Challenge as a separate thread:

Mike, are you still there? Thanks for finding that tutorial. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
