Can't post in "Show your work" section

As the title states, for some reason when I try to post something in "Show your work" it says that my message is awaiting moderation and afterwards nothing happens. I've tried a few times to publish the same post but it just won't work. Hopefully someone can fix this.
And happy new year!

    Seba,

I am very sorry you are having this problem. I don't understand why it happened. I can post to that section (but I am on staff so if there is a bug in the discussion software it might not affect me.)

Can you please try again? If you have an attachment, try zipping it to see if that makes a difference. If it won't post to "Show your work" please try posting it to general discussion. Also, try making a simple "test" post with no attachments to "Show your work" to see if that gets through.

I am adding Frederik to this thread in case he has any other suggestions. We've had some problems with the discussion software before, but I am not aware of anyone experiencing this issue before.

    Thanks for your patience,

    John

    Hi John,
thanks again for your help I figured it out. The cause appears to be the .ndbx file I was trying to attach. It won't work unless you zip it first.

    Thanks for trying this out!

I've been super-annoyed with the current software, I'm looking into switching to a new version. However, the big issue is porting all messages, as there is no automatic process for this...
