How Many Nodebox Users Are There?
Dear NodeBox staff,
Do you track NoceBox usage? Would you share it? Is it going up or down?
One way to do this would be to show total downloads for each version of NodeBox 3 (3.01, 3.02, ..., 3.49) with release dates broken down by Mac, PC, Linux.
Another rough indicator would be total views on the forum broken down by month.

We could look at website visits, but I haven't looked at this in a looong time.
For active users, I think I might be able to see this from the update logs (NodeBox connects once per 24 hours to the update server). However I haven't checked recently. Last time I checked it was about 1,000-1,500 active users (having used NodeBox in the last 30 days or so).

Interesting. You should check the update logs again. Might give us a rough idea whether the number is growing or shrinking.
