I've been following this project for years, but only recently retired enough to try to get effects such as I saw in the Gallery when it first caught my attention. What happened to all those cool projects and examples?

One place you might have missed (I did for my entire first year of playing with NodeBox) is the Examples section hidden inside the NodeBox desktop app.

Under File menu, choose "Open Examples...". This brings up a window with a number of tabs, each of which displays a gallery of simple examples. There are two tabs at the top, Basics and Topics, and for each of these a bunch more tabs on the left. For each tab you can select from a gallery of thumbnails; clicking a thumbnail opens a fully functional Nodebox Network which you can examine and build on. There are quite a few projects here.

There is also a Gallery tab on the NodeBox site (to the left of the Forum tab where this forum is located). That points you to websites that summarize projects from past workshops.

Beyond this, the hidden treasure lies in this very forum. If you look through the "Show Your Work" forum and the "NodeBox 2 & 3" categories you will find scores of threads full of example code. I have been working to build up this resource because I think its the best way to learn NodeBox. For specific conundrums I have found it helpful to simply type a node name or topic into the Search Discussions field and see what comes up.

    Happy hunting!
