Problem with attachments in this forum
I've been posting comments with attachments for many months now without difficulty. But in the last two weeks, whenever I create attachments and submit my post, the attachment links are grayed out and a message after each link says "processing assets". This processing persists for days.
At first I assumed this was what everyone was seeing. But I just noticed that the problem goes away when I log out. When I log back in, the problem returns. So I can only open my own attachments when I am logged out.
Has something changed recently with the forum software you are using? Can someone confirm this problem and look into getting it fixed?
Thanks.

We're using Tender, a hosted solution. I'll ask them what's up.

Here's a post with a test attachment to see if I can reproduce the issue.

It seems the test attachment went through without any issues. John, could you try re-uploading your asset again?

Another test, this time with two attachments...

The last two tests worked OK. My most recent post a few days ago was OK as well. It was failing every time for me last week, but I cannot now replicate the problem.
So whatever it was appears to have fixed itself. Sorry to bother you. If it happens again I'll let you know.
Thanks,
John

No problem at all.
I've chosen to use a hosted solution so we didn't have any maintenance. If this happens again, we'll have to look at another service....
